Is it ok for guys to have hookups but not girls?

I've been hooking up with this person I used to date, and my friend had a horrible reaction to the idea and compared me to one of his slutty friends...

Is it hypocritical because he does it too on occassion?

Or is the whole its ok for guys but not...

for girls still true?

Yes I realise its a gender bias which is utterly ridiculous, but do people still have those preconceived notions of what is acceptable for men and women to do?
Or is he just being a jerk?

If he does it too, then yes, it is hypocritical. And you shouldn't just ''hookup'' with someone.
You shouldn't have sex with them if you really don't care about them. Don't love them. And aren't in a relationship with them. I mean, what if you got pregtnant? Therefore creating a human life with someone you don't love. Who isn't your soulmate. Wouls physical pleasure really be worth that?

ok I wasnt asking for a morality lecture...

and lets make this even more worse for you... its a little hard to get pregnant if you're sleeping with another girl... (yes I am sure this will just absolutely sting your conservative sensibilities)

and to make it a little bit worse for you. if I got pregnant, the solution is called an ABORTION...
