What is the meaning of deja vus?

See, recently I've had serious episodes of deja vu, one just recently when I was reading a quesion on here and the answers to it, the question and answers are fairly new like within minutes, and I felt like I've read the question and the answers before! then the other night I had a dream that I met someone I haven't seen in forever and then the next day I saw them. and las week around christmas time, I had a deja vu episode where my mom and sister and I were cooking in the kitchen and talking about vanilla extract and if it can make you sick, and I felt like we had that conversation before. Whats the meaning of these? Its kinda freakin me out.

um...deja vu is mearly something that is familiar because you dreamt of it before. like, dreams on the other hand bring up a hole new subject. dreams are majical

Happens to me too

I had a dream that a substitute teacher I hadn't had in ages pointed at me and said be quiet.
Happened the next day, she was wearing the same thing that I saw her wear in the dream.

The human mind tries to make patterns out of what goes on around you. (It's one of the things that helped primitive man survive.) Deja vu is where your mind sees a pattern that it has noted before ... not the actual event, but just the pattern.
