The swine flu?

I know there's loads about an 'imminent pandemic' at the minute, especially since one of the 3 new cases found is in my city.

But basically, what actually is the swine flu? I'm hearing loads about pandemics and vaccines and things, but I actually have...

no idea what it is/what it does.

Anyone help??

its all of the above ^^ and it comes from pigs aparantly. in egypt there killing all pigs and banning pork.

the swine flue is from pigs its like that bird flue but it can kill u

don't worri because they have a thing to stop it and I don't think it will get round that much

and aprently the guverment are oaying money out for maskes to be worn

What do you want to know jemma? It's an airborne virus, much like normal flu, can be spread through sneezing etc. The evidence suggests it isn't as fatal as we were lead to believe, with mortality rates suggested to be at about 1% so far.
