The sims for ps2?

I've been playing the sims 2 for ps2 and my two sims are married and the love each there very much and I wanted to no if she could have a child.
yes they have been in bed together and they did 'woohoo' but I want to no if she can get pregnant?
does anyone know?

you must change the settings in the game by bringing up the console and where it says use a condom select the no box instead of the yes box but if you have 2many children you wont be able 2 pay all the bills thats if you have more than 8

no you cannot have kids on the console versions, only the PC version
