The sims 2 downloads

I have correctly downloaded hair, clothes etc... from the sims2.com (I have registered my games also) for some strange reason the downloads wont appear on my game ! its making me very frustrated I've tried everything but nothing has worked! anyone have...

any suggestions?
please help me ! happy

have you installed them into your game? when you click the download button, and something comes up that says save or open, click open and then a blue box will come up, then click install. if you're clicking save, you have to go back and find the file where you saved it in your computer and then install it manually.
