The pill

Ok well im on the pill (Microgynon) I finished my second pack on wednesday,
so I should be taking a weeks break.. but my boyfriend comes back off holiday tonight so im stopping at his. We wont be having sex for a while due to something thats recently...

happened.. but I dont really fancy being on my period when im sleeping at his. so I've started the 3rd pack and taken thursdays and fridays and will be taking one tonight so im not on my period, then I was going to take my weeks break after tonight, it told my mum that I've been doing this and she understood, but this morning she worried me wondering if I should be doing that, and could it mess up the system and I could have increased my chances of pregnancy. Just need some medical advice so I no what I should do.

oh and I would have looked this up in the leaflet it gives but I cant find it :/
so if anyone knows any sites I could go on that provides that information would be a lot of help,x

you shoyuld talk to a doctor about it
with some pills you can safely miss a period or even up to 3 periods
but with other pilld skipping them could be dangerosue and end up getting you pregnant
so its best to talk to a dcotor and he/she will be able to tell you if its okay to skip a period with the pill your on

The BCPs that allow you to skip a period just eliminate the rest period, and you go directly to the next pack, never having had a period. After a few months some women get breakthrough bleeding, and may as well go through the rest period then, since theirbody is breaking through the pill hormones. It sounds like you are just delaying your period a few days, and I see nothing wrong with that if you are healthy with no other problems.
