What if my best friend tried to rape me?

ok well last night my bestfriend/boyfriend who I have known for about 8 years but have been with for 4 of those years tried to rape and I reported it and even though he tried to rape me I still love him and I'm thinking about getting back together with him...he's been there 4 me when ever I needed him and I dont want to loose him but also the police said we can't go around each other till after the court date or unless I drop the charge on him but I really want to be with him.

Look at it like this, what if he tries to rape you again? And this time he does and he hurts you badly? What do you do then? You'll report it, He'll go to jail, but in the meantime You'll be hurt from what he done... Trust me, You're better off with some other nice guy out there.

I think you should let him go if he couldn't wait until you was ready then thats probilably all he desires from u.

so just let him go in find somone that can wait until your ready in not try to push you into a position like this go to court in maybe he won't go to jail or drop the charges in stay keep urself out of this kind of predictament

by him doing that, he knew you weren't ready, but he wanted to go there anyway.
A boyfriend should care for your needs and not just his.
I it was me, I would not go back to him. If you do, he knows he can do it again and you will still be comming back after everytime.

Any guy who truly cares about you, would never push you into sex. You have a messed up version of what love is hun! He isnt treating you like a person. He is treating you like some object! This boy does NOT love you! I told you that in the last question you posted. He doesnt even care about you. All he wants is sex! What dont you understand? I really feel for you, that you cant even talk to your mom about this situation. This is so sad, that you have to be so naive, as to be taken in by such an abuser.
