I think you have to go to your local military office, they will go over what you have the qualifications to do. they will also go over what each role entails and the requirments for it...
if you go in to the miltary, you need to accept that there is a strong chance that you may well get injured. many people spend their entire military career unharmed, but you have to understand that it is still a 'risk job'...
I'm not trying to put you off, I want to go into the army as a trained nurse, however, I think I may be one year too old when I qualify. my husband was in the army for 8 years, and he left because he developed type I diabetes, but he had mnay friends in his batallion that were injured, a few killed, but you have to do it with the right mind, you are doing it to protect thoseyou love...
I think it's like anything, if you come out unharmed, then it's worth it. if you get injured, then it may not seem so...but I think it's honourable...
(that's just my penny's worth, I doubt it was that helpful x )
Ok, well I was looking into joining the service, and I come from a long line of military back ground. The marine corps is the HARDEST branch of the US military. It is brutle, the training they have to do. Its really like Jar Head the movie, you crawl under the barbed wire, and they have live rounds firing at you. and if you stand up... you will die. The Air Force, is the SMARTEST branch of the military so they say. The basic training is about 80% education, and you still get some combat. But You should really make an appointment with the recruiters. Make sure one of your parents are there with you. And if if you decide to join and pass the ASVAB. Make sure you get the job YOU want in writing or they will screw you over. If you need anything else funmail me. hope that I helped.
the air force does better with schooling. I leave end of this month for bootcamp. lackland afb
