I think, now this is my own opinion, it was so popular b/c the riddle was a couple of stanzas long and the answer was so simple
Hey, How does that go I want to hear it??
I turn polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
answer: water
when polor beers are dirty they get in water to turn white...
are crys are water...
are sweat is water...
girls use some water for there hair...
celebrities drink water like normal citizens...
and we drink water like celebrities...
