1. Look over your shoulder and make sure there is no traffic to put you in danger if you are to overtake.
2. Indicate your intention I.e. that you intend to overtake
3. Avoid passing too close to the car and sound your bell to alert anyone who mite want to get out of the car. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR CYCLING HELMET BY THE WAY
