The elderly & money + careers?

I htink that the elderly are going to be where the money is and taking acare of them is rewarding and you learn so much from them,anyone think the same??

One of my boyfriend's family members tried taking a certified course in elderly care, but when the training got to the point of cleaning their private areas, she couldn't take it and almost threw up because some of them were extremely unhygienic (not going to describe it here for everyone's sake). Although I think this is partially her problem (she's bi-polar - unreasonable and unpredictable because of it), I also think that the program didn't prepare her enough for it beforehand. It's a shame, because she loves taking care of people, she has a gift for it.
