Hey are you a Buddhist? From what I know about Buddhism it is a very strict religion. The adherents of Buddhism do not eat meat, they are not even allowed to kill an ant. This is called ahmisa in sanskrit which means nonviolence. Buddhists beleive in renouncing worldly happiness and meditation. They perform strict austerities. The perfection of Buddhism is acheived when a person renounces from the world and enters a state of nothingness called Nirvana. Since desire is the cause of all suffering, the Buddhists beleive that to end all suffering we must get rid of worldly desires. Anything of the world is considered an impediment to this self-realization.
