ok well theres this colon cleanser tea and lemonade stuff that you drink for 10 days straight no food no nothing., my cousin says she lost 8lbs in 4 days. =/ which I think is crazy, but isnt she jsut going to gain the weight she lost even faster ?

That kind of thing sounds like it would. Her body would be so used to the lack of food that she'd gain it all back when she started eating again.

This is a fast called Master Cleanser. Some celebrities have used it to drop weight quickly. The originator of the regimen claims all sorts of supposed health benefits to it but his ideas are pretty far out there in the fringe.

I've tried it before but the longest I managed was 7 days, not the prescribed 10 days. Yes you do gain most of the weight you loose back when you start eating but I still managed 1 lb/day weight loss after the weight I regained.

Fasting is stressful to your body so before you try anything like this you should have a checkup to make sure you don't have any medical condition that would make fasting dangerous.
