The canterbury tales- the wife of bath's prologue and tale

Me Asked by mik3y4fngrs about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

I have to read this book for a literature class I'm taking in college; specifically the Wife of Bath's Prologue and Tale. Then I have to write a short two page paper due Tuesday Feb 5th, which isn't bad. The question I have to answer is: What...

connections do you see between the Wife of Bath’s personal experiences, as they are given in the Prologue to her tale (NOT the General Prologue), and the tale she tells?

It doesn't sound too bad, but I'm finding it quite hard to understand and I'm not sure if I'd be able to write much of anything about it. If any of you guys have read it and understand it, a little hint or something would be much appeciated, as well as any sites which may help me. I'm not looking for a free ride here, just some help so I can do this assignment successfully. Thanks!

Hi,

There are a lot of sites online like Sparknotes and Cliff Notes where they will give you a good little summary and review of the main points in the book. I used it when I was in school not in replacement of the material but as a supplement to help me understand confusing parts.
