sunset at the north pole Asked by hooch 7 months ago, 3 answers.

The 90's were just a decade ago, but why does it seem so long?

Well depends when you were born, if you were young in the 90 then it would seem a lot longer, talk to some older folks they will say it seems like yesterday!

If you think about it, 1990 was 19 years ago.(scary)
Your first two decades go by slow but after that you'll wonder, where did they go?

It seems long because the early 2000's are almost over. Think about it: We're closer to 2010 every day, and further and further away from the last day of 1999. Plus, I haven't looked at your profile, but if you were born in the 90's, like I was, it seems a long time ago because when you were younger, a year was a larger peice of your life. Think about it: at 10 years old, a year is one 10th of your life, whereas when you're 49, a year is one 49th of your life. It feels like it was so long ago, because a lot has happened since then till now.
