Temperature

My thermometer reads that I have a temperature of 96.8 f and the normal is 98.6 f what does this mean???

Well, if I remember rightly from my Science revision a couple of months ago a low temperature means an infection? But that's usually only like 0.001 difference 2 lower is very drastic and probably very inaccurate. if your feeling ok, you will be fine.

maybe watch your temp if you feel sick but dont let it get to your head

The normal core body temperature of a healthy, resting adult human being is stated to be at 98.6 degrees fahrenheit or 37.0 degrees celsius. Though the body temperature measured on an individual can vary, a healthy human body can maintain a fairly consistent body temperature that is around the mark of 37.0 degrees celsius.

I agree amblessed, it if you feel fine then it will mean you have a slightly lower body temp. than the average. don't worry I do too, mine is always around 36 degrees C.

It means nothing...average temp is 98.6...that average comes from a range of normal...and you are in that range.
