I would go to the nearest plan parent hood and get info, or when yougo for a check up ask your doctor if you could talk to him in private, or it would be better to tell mom to stay outu in the waiting room...if not then just call the doc and say hey i wanna have safe sex and i want to get checked but my mom cant know about this ,, theres no way they can tell your mom thats your business! hope i helped

The guy that wrote this above is a complete moron! Very immature. Your doctor can not tell your Mom if you tell him not to, all though to get birthcontrol..if you are on your parents insurance, they may find out....You could also mention to your mom that you think its time you should start having annual pap smears, they check your cervix for abnormal cells that can be related to cervical cancer. You can get cervical cancer without having intercourse. Women who are sexually active need to get pap smears. If your wanting birth control you can go to a planned parenthood and the 1st exam is usually around $70, I think and the pills a fairly cheap, make sure you don't put your home address or phone number on the paperwork. You could also check out your local health department and give a friends address.(their services are really cheap and sometimes free)Regardless of the pills or not you should always use a condom!!!! There are so many sexual transmitted diseases that can cause you not to be able to have kids later in life! Most importantly you could get something that will be with you the rest of your life that can not be cured. Usually men have no symptoms of some sexual transmitted diseases...so us women have to look out for ourselves...or it could ruin your whole future!

I had the same problem and i wanted to know that too. So i took a chance and went to my Doctor and i asked him if i could go on birthcontrol with out my mom knowing. And i did. I am on my moms insurance and the doctor said it was only between me and him. My mom did not find out she still hasnt. She knows im having sex though. Its a difficult thing to tell your parents. And its your body and you can do what you want with it. Your parents have no say in what goes on down where u want it too. So there ya go.

I think your parents would be happy to know that if you are having sex, you are taking precautions. I don't know the laws where you live, but here, you can go to a doctor and have it kept from your parents.

To the person above: Maybe you should try to educate yourself before you post!
It is possible to acquire an STD even if you are in a same sex relationship. Furthermore its possible to get an STD just by using someones adult toys that are infected.

POST: xsisx your a very pretty girl but it depends on the state in which you live in some states don't hide nothing from the parent while others

Thank you, I learn something new every day. Does the HIPPA law protect such circumstances? Is the HIPPA nation wide? I'm not sure but its something to check in to, I usually trash that paper(HIPPA law) that the receptionist gives me when you go to a new doctor, guess I need to read it next time happy

What kind of pig are you? Do you honestly believe that girl/girl sexual activity is nothing more than licking... have you no imagination? Did you know that lesbain women are more prone to STD's/STI's than hederosexuals...? I didnt think so! You are the most arrogant person, I have ever encountered.

Your mom will more and likely not see the papars. It is all between you and the doctor. And all the above about having a higer risk of stds cause of your sexual preference is bull cause to be honest its everywhere its judgemental people who think that way! I am bisexual and have been with 7 women and 3 men and I am 21 years old and never used protection other than birthcontrol pills... and lesbian sex is much much more than licking too! Then some towns have a free clinics to get birth control for free!
