Tear stains

No name dog Asked by jsparrowlvr about 1 year ago, 7 answers.

Does anyone have any really great tried and true suggestions for getting rid of tear stains and treating tearing? I've tried the kind of gel cleanser from the pet store and it doesn't work.

Huh....has anyone seen my blankie? Answered by jamo on Jul 30, 2008, 09:03AM

You can get stuff from a pet store (don't know what it is called) that cleans their eyes.

a little hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball rubbed over the tear stain usually works but be careful NOT to get in the eyes.

Amoeba...that thought crossed my mind today! That's a good idea. I've never heard of using a tea bag before (only on women who want to reduce bags under their eyes).
