Tattoos!!

ok so im getting a tatto for my 16th birthday... february 8th less than a month away... I've been planning this for a while now but I still dont know what to get I have some ideas but I just dont know!! please help!! some advice plaese I would really...

tatoos are supposed to show you and your feelings. tattoo ideas are so much better when they're personal to you. that way they will always have meaning. also I'd highly recomend you didnt get a tattoo of a boy/girl friend. everyboudy I know who has one- broke up with there partner

well, when I'm older one of the tattoos I'm getting is my fav. line from one of my favorite poems on my lower back- 'At midnight drain the stream of life' (The Giaour by Lord Byron) and I'd have a midnight background. so, I would recomend something that you'll ABSOLUTELY love forever.

My friend has a tattoo on her back that goes from the back of her shoulder down to her waist. It's written in cursive handwriting and it says 'Your suffering will free you' I LOVE IT!!

Mkay. When I was fourteen I was in this 'Group' of friends, and we were all centered around drinking. We decided one day we were going to go to our friend Jillian's dad's tattoo shop and get matching tattoos. And it was a bottle of jack daniels on our left shoulder blade. And now I'm two years older, and no longer belong to that group, and I have this ugly bottle of jack daniels on my shoulder, and it's hard to cover up most of the time.. Or like, I dated this guy Matt for a year and six months, and I went out and got a tattoo of, ML with stars around it on my arm.. [When I was fifteen] And now we're broken up, and I have his initials on my forearm for the rest of my life.

Basically my point is, don't pick a tattoo based of what people tell you to get. A tattoo is meant to show your true emotions and feelings, not other peoples.' I suggest never getting a tattoo of initials either, unless you're married to someone, or one of your good friends passed away or something. -- Then it's legit, and understandable. Just keep in mind, tattoos follow you for the rest of your life, so unless you're an immature person and plan to stay that way for the rest of your life, don't get anything immature.

Pick your own tattoo, it'll mean so much more to you, and you'll remember how you felt when you picked it out and got it for the rest of your life. (: -B.
