Tattoo while pregnant`

im not thinking of getting any tattoos while im pregnant or anything... but today I heard if you get a tattoo or piercing while pregnant your baby can feel the pain. is this true, has anyone ever heard of this?

lol. um I doubt they can feel the pain. but I know ink in the tattoo can
affect the baby in a negative way.
a piercing on the other hand I doubt it.

I've never heard of the baby feeling the pain
and I highly doubt it will
seeing as though the tattoo is on the skin
not in her womb
and the needle doesnt stab in as far as her womb either
but it can be dangerouse to get a tattoo while pregnant
because the ink can be absorbed into the bloodstream
which will go to the baby
though so far it hasnt been proved if its not safe to get it done
but it aslo hasnt been proved safe either
and its really not worth the risk anyway

who will ever know this to be a fact.tchnically its external not internal so theres nothing that baby will feel..2nd make sure the tattoo artist doesnt use mercury in the ink THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR ANY HUMAN RECEIVNG A TATTOO

Just to be clear, the ink does NOT go into a persons bloodstream when they get a tattoo. If it did, you'd get extremely sick every time you got one. The needles don't puncture down far enough for the ink to get to the blood stream.

The main risks with getting tattooed while pregnant are infection, diseases, and allergic reactions. These are the same risks that are posed to a woman who is not pregnant. However, that being said, that does not mean that, if you have been tattooed before and are currently pregnant, you should go out and get more because you know how you react. Just because you don't feel anything, doesn't mean you don't have a slight infection that clears up on it's own without you even noticing it's there. That harmless infection may not hurt you but it can seriously harm your baby.

Honestly, it's smarter to just wait. I miss being pierced and tattooed but I would never risk my babies health like that.
