What if your whole family hates tattoos and you want one?

what if your whole family thinks tattoo's are retarted and you want to put your mamaw's face on your foot cause she died 2 years ago,,,

my bro has tats on his arms b g his initals so he dont forget lol tats are a matter of taste rather than asking your family ask yourself because its your body and your right

getting that tattoo on your foot would hurt really bad and there are risks that the ink would spread throughout your skin because there is a lot of shading to be done in a portrait. I would rethink the area but other than that I find nothing retarded about wanting someone you love going everywhere you do for life. Of course youre prob. really young and should give it years of thought. You may change your mind kid.

Its personal choice if you want one done go for it,I have 7 and only regret one,ha.So make sure you like it before having it done,I've one on my foot and didunt hurt to much

Try explaining to the family that you want a tatoo not because you want to be retarted (as they so call it), you want it because you love your mother and you want to carry her around with you wherever you go because you want her support and for the memory! If that doesn't convince them DO IT anyway!

P.S. if you do do the tatoo without their premission and they catch you say that you had to do it, you had to do it for your mom!

I got my first at 15 without permission, I hid it for a year though and I didnt get into much trouble, I have 6 now and only onei regret but its well hidden and only small.
I have my mum and dad written on my wrist in chinese symbols, I thinkits a rather nice thing to do, if you do get it on your foot I don't think you'll be able to hide it!
if your getting one without asking permission, make it somewhere they won't see often like your back , or even wrist if your careful

Why do care about what your family thinks? At the end of the day, you should do what you want to do! Don't allow your family to live YOUR life. You will never reach your full potential if you continously worry about what other people think. Just do what you want. Family or strangers no difference- I learn't that the hard way!
