Asked by shortie4life1993 over 2 years ago, 2 answers.

Is it alrite to use tampons for the whole period as long as you change the tampon?

*Scientifically incorrect as it may be, it makes me laugh.* Answered by tiffany88 on Aug 15, 2007, 02:03PM

Yes it's ok, but you must make sure to change them at least every 6-8hrs to avoid Toxic Shock Syndrome

you can use tampons from the first to the last day of your period, but you may need to change sizes towards the end butmake sure you change every 4 hours though (apart from when you go to sleep at night, then change it as soon as you get up) and wash your hands before and after inserting the tampon. There should be instructions inside every pack of tampons, read them for advice too.
