You're probably not doing it right. Look at the instructions. It says a 45 degree angle. I know I had some trouble the first few times I used them. You could always try a smaller size and if you still have no success, just go back to pads

it sounds to me like you're putting it at a wrong angle! you're suppose to lead in the tampon with the back wall of your vagina. read the instructions that comes with the box of tampons before you use one!

Just use pads then, give up on something that you don't like.

I agree with reading the instructions. You can also try putting some lubrication gel on the tampon to make it slide in easier. Maybe that's why it is easier for you to get your fingers up than it is a tampon. Keep exhaling and pushing it in at the right angle. Good luck!

Try laying down and doing it...this way it should come naturaly as which angle to put it in

and if you finger your self led down, then you will probs find it easier to put a tampon in led down, untill you can do it standing up

You could use a slender tampon, or a lite tampon. I have that problem sometimes at the end of my period. It could be that the tampon is too long, and it is hurting your cervix. The vaginal canal isn't that long, but it can be hard for the vagina to lubricate itself.
