I remember him telling me a story about how one year he meet a girl down there with his friend and went back to her place for drinks. He was seeing this other girl at the time but said that nothing happened with this girl whom he meet at the pub.

Then when he goes to tell his friends the story he changes it and said that he kissed the girl he meet that night. I know that he had only meet the girl that he was seeing at the time, but what hurts me is that I feel like he hides things so that I will not think badly of him. I am pretty ago with things as long as someone is honest with me from the start. When I comforted him about it he said that he thought that it would upset me and that it was the past and it didn't affect me. Yes it was the past and I am all for look towards the future but it affects me to have mistrust in him when its the even the small things he is not being honest with. Whats the best way to handle this situation.
