I haven't taken drama (but I'm going to). Here's what I've been told:
you don't have to be able to act, you can do set designing, lighting or technical stuff. after the performance the examinor asks you what you did and why.
also it's easy. loads of practice and small exams all leads to one big final performance, it's marked out of 50. 40+ is an A 45+ is an A*. the final exam is in front of your parents, plus 3 examiners, apparently pull it off well and it's easy to get an A*!!!
(I'm guessing you're in England, because I don't think they have butlins in America?)
I am in year 11 and I am doing drama and Early Childhood Education.
Drama, you always have to do your homework, no matter what. You don't have to be good at acting for that but you do a lot of acting writing. It's really fun =]
Early Chilldhood is pretty laidback, just keep your book up to date you should be fine.
