Yes he should. He can hurt you if he doesn't take it slow on you b/c its your first time. maybe later he can speed up after your more experienced, but for now just take it nice and slow to reduce the pain. some girls hurt during their first time and others don't. But if your one of the lucky ones that don't hurt I guess it's up to you on how fast or slow you want it.
