Yesterday I was a hero, I was.
I was smooth and I was famous, I was.
Yesterday I flew, and though it didn't last,
Got a feeling yesterday was a blast.

Today the sun is bright, the clouds are light,
Seems, the day is going to drag, it just...

might.
The world moved on, forgetting the laughter,
And here you are, glowing like no other.

Take me back, I whisper into your ear.
Take us back, for our ownsake... can you hear?
The noise, the silence, the lights, the shadows,
The fast, the slow and this feeling that grows.

I have to admit, I rarely comment on poetry because I don't like to sugar-coat something I don't honestly feel is good work, but I have read 2 of your poems now and both are worthy of appraisal.

You have a talent...keep it up.
