System shutdown

my mp3 player wont stay on or do anything. I turn it on and it reads- battery is too low, system shutdown. it is a sandisk 8gb mp3

Try that... or maybe the battery is just too used up and wont hold a charge anymore.

Sometimes they freeze up but it's no biggie. On the Sansa players, reset is usually a combination of holding down the power and a navigation key. Look up the player on their web site and search for reset or reply with the model number and I'll do it for you.
