I can't stop sweating!

I have a sweating problem. I never had it before until now. I get extra dry deodorant but it doesn't work and I don't want to try the spray because people say its unhealthy because it dries up your sweat glands or something. Anyway I can't wear any cute tops to school or thin shirts because I'll sweat and then everyone would see pit stains and even with a regular t-shirt theres still pit stains. I don't understand why this started happening and some people tease me about it but only a few and I really would like to be able to wear cute shirts again and not be teased. If you know a safe way to cure this problem please let me know soon!

Hi embrassed,

I would try http://www.odaban.co.... The product is supposed to be very effective. It's kind of expensive, and you only get a small bottle, but using it just twice a week helps with execessive sweating. It works by blocking some of your sweat pores and redirects the sweat to spread out evenly through your body. I've heard it really works from a friend.

Secondly, I would head over to a doctor just to make sure everything is okay with you physically. Sweat is the body's natural way to flush out toxins, and there could also be a gland problem if you're suddenly sweating more than usual.

hope that helps!

I saw on tyra, that theres this new thing that I guess youget little shots in your arm pits and it helps slow the glands down. you should ask your doctor about it. they showed them doingit to someone on tyrashow.

Yup, you get botox injections in your pits. It sounds like you have a disorder and no, deoderant probably won't help, but it would depend on how severe it is. There is this perscription stuff I heard about. If you get the botox, you have to keep getting them every couple of months or so, but there's also this operation, where they actually remove the excess sweat glands, but that would be a little extreme. I don't think it's a disorder, cause if it was, you'd be sweating from you palms, feet etc. I read a stort about this girl who couldn't even hold a pen because her hands would get so wet with sweat. There's also this shock treatment, where you put your hands in a basin of water and tiny surges of electricity go through and zap your sweat glands. But you NEED to talk to your doctor, good luck!

I dont know a way to fix this but I have the same problem. My feet, hands and underarms sweat constantly without even being hot or nervous. I really get embarrased when I have to hold someones hand and I always wear a jacket to cover the sweat on my underarms. Someone told me the only way to stop it is with surgery but does anyone know of an easier cure?

u should be happy that you sweat so much. I know it sounds weird. but it is perfectly normal to sweat a lot. it helps get all the nasty stuff out of your body. dont worry about it. I have the same problem. but its normal. I promise.

I have the same promblem. I use secret clinical strength. It works if you put some on at night and then in the morning. But the other secret kinds dont work at ALL! So I would get clinical strength kind. It really does work and it is worth buying.
