Surgery question

Our Cat Asked by vickylaw about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

Ok so I got the ingrown toenail surgery today. And everything went ok. But my numbness went away real quick so it was painful but right now I have no pain. But it is still bleeding.. I mean not like pouring out of the bandaid just like little spots every...

5 minutes. And when I bend my toe it feels as if it is still numb. Is everything ok or is it normal to feel numb and swollen for a while. Because I got it done at 10am

Sounds normal, if needed: Ask-A-Nurse: 1-800-892-8260

it's going to do that for a while, possibly even tomorrow too. Leave it alone except to wash it out and keep it from getting too dry. You don't want the stuff getting black and hard on top.

Stop bending your toe. Elevate that leg and stay off of it.

My son has had 3 of these done. Keep a band-aid on it, and neosporin it too.
