Sun sensitivity is a side effect of birth control. I recommend finding a good moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15 in it.. you can even find a tinted one that you can wear instead of foundation. I know Neutrogena, for example, makes one. Make sure you put it on every morning, even if you aren't planning on being outside that much. Then, if you're actually doing an outdoorsy thing, apply and bring along an SPF 45 or more.
Also: drink a lot of water. Those two things combined should clear it up, but if not, make sure you talk to your doctor.
