Consider that 1 cup of sunflower seeds (a serving) has 23.7 grams of fat, so, they are fattening if you eat too many, but if you are using proper portion control, the fats can be beneficial as there are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats in them which are important for heart health.

it also depends on your age,
if you are still growing, then you need the protein.
but I also can eat a whole package in a few hours...
and I do...
