Suicide

Ok so in my last question I said how my friend wanted to commit suicide and I didnt know what to do. I got some really good advice and I decided im gonna tell someone I can trust. I dont wanna tell my parents so im guessing I should tell a teacher...I...

have a couple teachers I can trust but I dont know what to say. This is probably a stupid question but I just cant think very good right now...any help?please?

yes tell a teacher or a specialist that works for your school that deals with that stuff I cant think of what they are called I forgot wow

All you have to say is that she told you that she wants to kill herself. They will take it from there. They will contact her family and let them know and most likely they will make her go to the hospital like I said before. Try not to be nervous about telling them either. Think of it like your saving your friends life because in a way you are. Good Luck!

Are sure that this something that can wait until Monday?? If she stated she wants to kill herself I wouldn't wait until Monday. Talklng to a counselor at school is a great idea.,but unfortunately for her possible safety it needs to be dealt with this weekend.
One thing you can possibly do is ask her to sign a self-harm contract with you for the weekend. A lot of mental health facilities do this with their suicidal out-patients. She signs the contract by saying that if she has feelings of hurting herself IN ANY WAY then she promises to call u. Your part of the contract says she can call you 24/7 if she is feeling like she wants to hurt herself in any way. Do you have a cell she can call you on or would your parents object to the phone ringing in the middle of the night if you explained -+- a friend is having really bad problems right now and MAY call you in the middle of the night if they need to.
Try this and see if she'll sign with you but if not you need to tell someone and not wait until Monday on this one. It could be too late sorry to say.

Yes it is smart to tell a tracher,make it the most trust worthy one. And just start off by letting them know that you are in need of someones help then let them know the story. Good luck (:
