I am from Australia and have not been overseas yet. I really really really want to go but I have a nine month old and my fianc'e wont fly I really want to see America what should I do.

Have your fiancee watch your baby and take a trip by yourself. It could be like a vacation for you! It would be worth it. America is great!

America is a big place.

You should study about some of the places in America that would interest you so that you could properly choose a place or section of America that you could see in a two-week vacation.

Then, start saving, and when your child is between 8 and 10 the three of you could take a vacation to America.

Granted, you are going to spend the next 8 to 10 years trying to convince your husband that flying is safer than riding in automobiles. Hey, it's so safe that in New York we have a pilot who can use a river as a runway! wink
