Stroke

My puppy Foxy Asked by mikes_baby_gurl_15 15 days ago, 4 answers.

We think my grandma had a stroke yesterday and today she was at our house and the side of her face is drooping so I called my cousind candy (rn) and she cam here and took my grandma to the e.r can a stroke lead 2 taste loss>??? Please help

I do believe so. It can lead to a lot of things you normally do. Lifting an arm or moving a leg. Not being able to smile with your whole face.

It's so amazing to me how many people will jump to answer a question and yet do no research and provide no information.

Yes, if the stroke affects the brainstem it can, among other things, affect one's sense of taste, leaving it altered, reduced, or missing entirely.
