Stretch marks

Asked by mumbles87 over 3 years ago, 6 answers.

my g/f just had her baby and she still has the stretch marks on her belly. now that she had our kid she wants to get back into her old dress size and look. what is a good way to remove the stretch marks and does it matter how long they have been there?

I have heard that Maderma helps with stretch marks. You do have to apply it three times a day though which is a big commitment.

During the pregnancy if she used a lot of mosturiser on her belly that would have helped too. Now if she just works on tightening and toning and try something like maderma it should help a little.

ok...they make a special cream just for stretch marks from pregnency, it's called cocoa butter something.

sorry to tell you but NOTHING will get rid of them completely. toning up the stomache area and a tan can help disguise them. they do fade slightly eventually but will never go completely.

After a while the stretch marks won't be quite so noticable, especially if she's fitness-concious. They'll never go away completely, but don't worry about them too much, they're scars just like any other and they will fade with time.

NOTHING WILL EVER MAKE STRETCH MARKS GO AWAY. PERIOD. They could be lightened a bit by Vitamin E oil - which helps with scarring in general, but they will never completely go away.

I have some stretch marks on the backs of my thighs. I think using bio-oil helps to minimise the scarring, and it can also be use 4 many other things too!
