I have two of them, a conair wet and dry one that is also ceramic. My friend gave it to me. She said it was top of the line. And the other one is a plastic conair one.
you need to invest in a ceramic- titanium hair straightener that heats up to 500*. That's the kind I have, and I've used it on my friend who has ringlet curls, like her hair is crazy curly, and it stayed straight for longer than a day.
After you blow dry your hair, take a dab of patrolium jelly and mix it with water. Put it in your hair (BUT NOT TO MUCH OR IT WILL LOOK GREASY). Straighten it, after words wipe you hands flat down your hair (THIS KEEPS IT FROM FRIZZIN. It will be easier to maintain for a few days, you may only have to put a brush through it.
You can get a great straightener from folica.com for about $100. Its worth it. if you go to a salon they will charge you up the a hole for it.
it really is worth the investment. I have had mine for 2 years now and my hair feels really good and you dont have to straighten in every day, it stays straight until your next wash.

Making sure my hair stays straight?
My hair is super wavy and l hate it. last night l stayed up for 2 hours and blow-dryed it. Then l straighted it and put these chemicals on it to keep it straight for renforcement. So l woke up this morning and my hair was sup wavy again! I was so mad! I got my hair chemically straighted a few months ago and it didn't work. How can l make sure it stays straight?
