Straighten hair?

I always straighten it almost every day,actually I have it straighten right now,im 13 and my mom says I'll get it burn,but I love straight hair,(I have curly),why does everybody wearing straight hair??

stright hair is in. and you mom is right to. I straightened my hair everyday and the tip got al burned so I had to cut it. and even if your hair is curly you can leave it. if everyon has their hair striaght leave urs curly and be different stand out. be yourself. maybe you'll stard a new trend and everyone will start curling their hair.

It is true you could damage your hair by straightening it everyday (but I love straight hair too!) Maybe you could find out if there's a treatment that would straighten it out so you wouldnt have to do it everyday?

Go to a salon and ask for 'hair rebonding'. It makes your hair super straight and it lasts for a year if you take care of it.

if your going to straighten your hair all the time atleast get a heat protection spray, it'll stop you're hair getting damaged. =]

I don't believe that whole damage load of you-know-what, if you keep your hair healthy (shampooing and conditioning regularly) than you have nothing to worry about. I've been straightening my hair for 7 years straight and my hair is perfectly healthy.

I used to straighten my hair EVERYDAY and it was so dead. but now I try to straighten it as LESS as possible. here are some tips:
-whenever you wear your hair up (pony tail, bun, etc) dont straighten it.
-whenever you arent going anywhere like over the weekends or just staying home dont straighten it
-use lots of conditioner!!!

really buy a heat protection spray. it helps.
and heat protection shampoo.
I love straight hair
straighten mine all the time but if I dont use the spray you could smell that its starting to get burnt...ewww so yeah use heat protection

I straighten my hair EVERYDAY but to stop my hair from Burning I use a heat protection spray. Everyone loves straight hair because well... iits straight!! :D
iit stays straight and in the same place but if you dont straighten it gets knotty easier and flys about. If youve got curly hair get a side fringe then leave your hair down and just straighten your fringe. Thats also very popular now, but put some mousse in your curly hair to get it to stay in place.

I turn 13 today lol and I have curly hair too...I straiten it everyday...your not thee only one anyways if your mom is that concerned maybe go to one of those hair cutting places that can make your hair straight until your hair grows out...thats what my mom is planning to do but it cost like 45 dollars or more!
