Stomach question?

Ok this is probably not really anything major... But I'm just curious - why does my stomach look bigger after I eat or something? Is that just from where the food still needs to digest or what?

Yeah... that's what happens to me. My stomach will look big... then in a few hours it starts going down and then it's flat again.

Yup, you're right. When you eat - the food takes up space in your stomach and the digestive juices also add to the mass. It will extend more as you eat and it will distend when you don't .

It also may be that the food you're eating is causing bloating, the swelling goes down after it's digested, but it usually swells a little with mild indigestion.
