If I were to go to the doctor and am 15 and be cheaked for a STD or STI and came back + can they tell my parents and will they?

Usually the doctor asks if you want them to tell your parents or let you but if it's serious they may just do it without hesitation. I could be wrong.

They aren't allowed to tell your parents, even if it is serious.

If he does you can report him, it isn't his responsibility to be telling your parents, however if your parents get a bill and inquire as to why they are paying an extra amount, they are allowed to disclose it.

But still speak to your doctor and ask him.

This really depends where you live... Different countries have different laws concerning the rights of children (unfortunately most places hold the rights of parents above those of children). Generally he wont tell unless they ask though... But you do want to talk to him...

in the US it is against the law for a Dr. to tell anyone else anything they know about your health without permission. unless it is court ordered. but you parents cannot have that info court ordered. so don't worry.
