how do I remove spyware from my computer

if you want to do it for free, get avg antivirus, or clamwin. they're decent, and free. if you're willing to pay money, buy adaware. it's a really good program. then run the program, and let it do it's thing.

I would suggest spyware doctor or adaware. Spyware doctor starter edition can be obtained for free through the google pack, and adaware is free, go to lavasoft.com. If adaware 2007 doesn't work due to an error, search on google older versions of adaware, and download that.

You may also get pctools firewall plus, as well as pctools antivirus free edition, both of which are free, for further protection against whatever you may have on your computer.

To avoid further spyware issues, start using firefox if you aren't already, and download the free add-on: what, at mywot.com, or search in the add-ons section of the firefox website, what web of trust and select the first result.

If you are willing to pay, you could also get bullguard, a program with a built in firewall, virus scanner, spyware scanner, anti spam filter, file backup system, and a support team that can help you to get rid of rootkits and technical support issues.
