If its a REALLY good story, then it should be worth typing. Do it over a period of time. Set a goal to type a certain amount per day, etc. Just pace yourself.
Free nope but here is a link to buy the best on the market.

There are speech recognition programs, but they are generally bad. You need to train the program, and even then the recognition is far less than perfect, unless you just happen to have a very clear diction. Additionally, speech recognition programs are no help when it comes to punctuation. So get a grip and start typing...
There is an inbuilt speech to text recognition program in Microsoft Office (if you already own one).. It takes a little effort to train that as ncatfunadvice pointed out. However, if you want to use it...you may find it useful...If you already have office installed on your computer, then it must be there already.
you can look for open source programs there might posably be an app. on open office but I have never really eveing looked for it on open office if your despert for it wright your own app.

Send me Fun Mail
ok, now.. I have a REALLY good story, but it's WAY to long to write, or type, so I was wondering if, I had a microphone fr my comp, which I do, IF there is some way to get my voice to translate into text. Otherwise: Speech to Text. I know they have text to speech, but is there some way to make it or get it for free It would be really helpful!!! thanks! =]
