South park going to far?

Similar to a question I just read about MJ but this one is a little different,I was talking a friend yesterday about an episode of True Life on MTV about Tourette's Syndrome and she told me they made fun of the disorder,when I heard that I was ticked...

about it. Did they really make fun of that disorder and do you think South Park should stop with that kind of stuff?

I think the show is great, its syterical and most of the episodes have them dealing with issues that are in the public eye, and a moral conclusion is usually reached (for example in one episode stans dog is gay and stan is mad because he wants a 'butch dog so the dog runs away. at the end stan is upset because his dog runs away and he realizes that its okay to be gay and thats just how his dog is and he would like his dogs company more than anything).

There is a reason the show has so many seasons and is still running. Yes they make fun of a lot of things we do in America but its usually for a very good reason (like homophobia in the gay dog episode)

if you don't like it just don't watch it, you have to understand that they are making fun of these things in satire and that most of it isn't meant to be taken seriously.

I agree. And they made fun of Satan! Some people worship him (I'm just standing up for what I believe in). And serial killers such as Jeffrey Dhamer (I don't know how you spell his last name). I could go on and on,but those are serious things.Not something to laugh about. Whoever finds it humorous,GET A LIFE!!

And I'm standing up for what I believe in: Humor. Sadly, though, half the things that Americans laugh at these days is jokes that live off of making fun out of things like that, and if you think it's wrong, just don't watch the show.

they really need to cancel the show , the 11 and 12th season I was wondering how they got away with what they did

its mainly for adults so...its racist...and all sorts of stuf they make fun of every1 dont b upset over 1 thing...if you have a problem write to the guy who edits it or sumthing

I think that yes... it can be innappropriate.. but thats the type of programme it is... so if you don't like it... don't watch it I guess.

The guy who edits it probably get like a million letters a day... I feel bad for him... But I guess he kinda deserves it.

It's just politically incorrect humor, which many people including myself like. If you're too sensitive about the topics, don't watch the show. It's not that hard.

it aint going too far im like obsessed with south park so im gonna defend it!!! they make fun of everything and some people could care less its an amazing show and trey paarker and matt stone are really freakin awesome and really freakin smart so if you cant handle it stay away from it thats just my opinion I like laugh my head off at some of the stuff they do. different people think different things are funny so if someone doesnt like it then they can f*ck off

*Whoever finds it humorous,GET A LIFE* a lot of people watch this show so stop trying to offend people, your making one person happy,but at the same time, making a lot of them mad so dont say that. and yes, I do think south park is funny, but I agree, they should not make fun of disorders, I think that is not funny, but some of the other things is funny... and thats not a problem, I mean if they were making fun of something stupid like disorders, I wont laugh bout it, something that I like, or is not nice to make fun of is stupid, but thats not all south park
