Is this my period?

Hey everyone I am sooo sorry I am buggin you about all this puberty stuff but its been on my mind a lot lately! Okay so heres my story and my question: one day I lloked into my underwear and saw blood! It was my first period yay!! Except when I put a pad on the blood didn't drip anymore but whenever I went to the bathroom there was always blood when I cleaned along with the discharge...and the period only lasted for 2 days! My question is: is this normal? And is this my period or not?

Talk to your mom she has been through this before. I am not sure because mine lasted 5 days. but I had bad luck too when ever I put the pad in no blood came out buit when I took it out there was so much blood in my underwear. All I CAN SAY IS TALK TO YOUR MOM. AND IF YOU ARE TO SCARED TO TELL HER REMEMBER THAT SHE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL HER MOM AND SHE WILL UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS..
