Nope, all you did was pull some muscles. The soreness will go away. The assault won't be on your record forever. It's only a misdemeanor, not a felony so it's not that serious. When you turn 18 you can get your record sealed. After that, employers can't pull it up so you've basically got a clean record. If you want to join the military, though, they'll be able to see it, but most of them turn a cold shoulder to that.

Defending your friends is a very noble thing to do. Beating the sh*t out of them isn't. Well...a little, maybe. The dislocated shoulder was a little much. I know if anybody talked sh*t about my friends I'd do the same.
