Sore bum after not pooping in a while?

This weekend me and my 10 yr old brother were at my aunts house,from friday until today.he doesnt like to poop anywhere but at home because hes scared he'll clog the toilet-or whatever.
Anyways,he hadnt pooped since friday,and today he did when we got home,and hes been complaining his butt hurts since then.and that was about 3 hours ago.

Should he see a doctor or is this normal and a side affect of him not pooping in a few days?

It's probably normal, but have him drink lots of water and eat lots of fiber so he can get himself back to being regular.

Also explain to him that he doesn't have to worry about whether his poop is going to clog a toilet or not. Most likely it won't, but even if it does, that's what they have plungers for. And most people have had their toilets plugged by various things so they usually have a plunger handy.

Explain to him that he is better off using "strange" toilets rather than putting such stress on his intestinal system. Also, by refraining from having a bowl movement for long periods of time he gives the large intestine more opportunity to extract more water from the stool which makes it more difficult and painful to pass.

its totally normal. but somebody needs to explain to him that its ok to "go" somewhere else than home because hell end up hurting himself.

try to give him a laxative
