What should i do with my friend issues?

the captain of the jv volleyball team and she's really pretty. Everyone says were both pretty but I think shes prettier and it just gets under my skin well we both have this dance coming up, and my date goes to another school while her is in our grade. He's pretty much the cool guy if you wanna call it that and I mean I'm nice to him but I don't really talk to him because I don't think he likes me. But my best friend and himhave kinda had this on off like e/o thing since freshman year but a the time one of them likes the other at the time while the other one doesn't wanna have anything to do with them, anyways I found out that like alotta of the girls in my class, although volleyball players have either talked to him or almost dated in the past year, this makes me think that somethings wrong with me or something because I never almost dated him, I know it's stupid but true. Anyway after my friend and this mr.popular are going to this dance together my friend wants him to ask her to homecoming. She asks around to see who he is going to ask , and hears that he might either ask her or one of my other friends who my best friend is nice too but not particularily fond of e/o, I'm friends with both but of course would take my best friends side over anything, oh and these two friends are jealous of e/o anyway,come to find out this boy my best friend likes asks my other friend whom my best friend gets irritated with to homecoming, this of course pissed her off because she was already getting pretty irritated with my other friend. My one friend who got asked by mr.popular had just broke up with her boyfriend , and he decides to ask my best friend to homecoming just as friends and my other friend thinks its because her ex wants to make her jealous, and then starts this whole big redic drama. Anyway, my friends confronted e/o but they still didn't really work much out and theres still alotta tension and theyre trying to put me in the middle of it and I told them that I really could care less and to not put me in the middle of it. Anyway, the reason im writing this whole thing, is because I've had a very stressful week, and every time I try to tell my best friend about it it seems like she blows me off and shes ussually not like this but it seems like both of them have been acting like the world revolves around them lately, okay, so I told my friends ex to ask her to homecoming to make her feel better for my other friend getting asked. Did she thank me? No I also don't have a date and no one asked me to homecoming which makes me feel pretty crappy, I also have to sit with my other friend because we have the same lunchevery single day and listen to how gorgeous and cool she thinks she is, oh and to top thigns off, my best friend got voted homecoming princess for our class. This past week, I have pretty much broke down twice. Inclass I was just crying and my best friend asked me what was wrong but I feel bad I can't tell her I don't wanna ruin her moment, er grandpas been in the hospital and he's about to die, so I mean I feel for her, but everytime I try to tell her something it's just like she acts liek her problems are more significant than mine and I when she asked me and texted me what was wrong at shool I just said its not you you wouldn't understand, oh and there was this guy who I was talkingto over the summer and almost dated and I really really liked him and he makes me feel like crap because he always talks about my best friend in front of me, and how hot she is and how nice her *** is and he makes me feel like ***, and when we were all at a restaurant he asked us who we wee going to one of the dances with and we both told him we had dates for this one and he goes to my best friend oh well you're bringing me next time, and the boy mr. Popular was there when he said that and kinda liked my best friend at the time, and when the guy I almost dated said that to my best friend , mr.popular said no like as being territorial over her, and my best friend complains about how mr.popular said that because why would he say that and then not ask her to homecoming(btw this dance im talking about is not homecoming) anyway I tell her how do you think that makes me feel when the guy iused to really like tells you that he wants you to take him to a dance right in front of me, and she just acts like she could care less and once again like her problems are so much more important than mine, oh and the other day we were in the hallway , and the guy I used to like comes up right next to us and starts talking and looks at my friend and says oh you're hair looks nice today and walks away, do they even realize how this makes me feel? Please someone what should I do I tried to tell my friend that she has everything (homecoming princess, a date to the dance and homecoming, and everyone loves her) but she just blows it off and continues to talk about her problems and how the guy who she wanted to ask her to homecoming should like her and everything, I just feel like ohh screw me and im getting sick and tired of it what should I do? I just wanna feel like problems are important for once and have my moment
