Why does my friend only like people that others like?

okay I like this guy and its pretty ovious to all my friends. well today while I was at school I heard one of my friends saying that she liked this guy and now im all depressed because of it. thing is that when she finds out one of her friends like someone she decides she likes them too. someone help me figure this out. please.

hey my best friend is the same way when I star liking a guy and talking about him she will start liking him so its really hard. but you just have 2 deal with it. my best friend usaly gets all the guys and I dont but their is usualy one guy that I like that she dont sh just keep looking

You shouldn't get upset. Its not like she can control the boy's mind. I mean it's the boys choice to pick who he wants.
