Soft alternative/acoustic/emo bands?

I'm looking for bands such as the appleseed cast and the hush sound somewhere in those lines.
I don't really want the mainstream stuff, because chances are I've already downloaded them and they are on my ipod.
If you anyone can give me some bands...

that not really anyone has heard of much then that would be the greatest.

hello there spartan, I have a little thing here for you, its not the bands you're looking for, but its a good way to get similar to what you already have

there is a site called Last FM. http://www.last.fm

in here you can listen to the music you want online, listen to the radio of your fav band, and here im getting to the point [xD] to what you need, in this site, you can write a name of an artist, or a band, and see other bands and artists that are similar to it ^.^

BMTH is uh... core if im not wrong.. not emo ~_^.. hinder and relient K if I remember right christian.. guys he asks for emo not anything else XD its like ill suggest brokencyde in a country band request topic... lol

and I think I got one foryou.. ISNFOF.. [I set my friends on fire..] good screamo, not sure if emo, see if you like, give me a shot..

except them, I also have the used, and all american rejects in mind, check them out too ^.^

if you search through pandora, you can find a lot of good bands along that sound..

soft alternative?...hmmm...I guess the killers. they're really good, even tho you have probably heard of them too. I HAVE THE PERFECT ONE!!! ok, there's this awsome sorta, kinda band called NeverShoutNever!His music is wonderful and VERY emotional. :D

well, I don't really listen to that sortta music, but Placebo are a great band (some people say there emo) they have soft songs, and Joy Division arn't acoustic or emo, but there pretty soft and poetic. I hope that helps lol
