Snapshot = photobooth??

so I've got a new macbook but I dont know how to use it since before I had PCs
I really wanted photobooth so I was on a site you could download it, but instead it downloaded something called snapshot
does anyone know how to work with snapshot? or if its...

If you got a new macbook you already have photobooth installed on it. Click on Macintosh HD on your desktop. Then click on the first folder that says Applications. Under applications if you look through all the programs you should find Photobooth, the icon looks like a red curtain, just click it an it will open.
